Uncle Milton - National Geographic

Product Review - Week 1

August 15, 2012

A large box appeared on my front porch this past week.  I was so excited to open the package and find some very cool and wonderful goodies from Uncle Milton.    Uncle Milton founded in 1946, they have a developing some awesome and creative way to teach kids through exploring the sciences such Star Wars, Dinosaur Train and John Deere.  This past Spring Uncle Milton came out with a new line called National Geographic.  This line give kids the opportunity to explore nature right in their backyard and neighborhood.  Over the next few weeks, you will hear about the toys that I am playing with; oops, my grandchildren will be playing.

The toys we all explored with this past week were All Terrain Nature Collector, 4-in1-Explorer Navigation Tool and Earth Tag.  We started in our backyard with the 4-in1-Explorer Navigation Tool checking the temperature by standing in the shade first and then the sun, noting the different temperature changes.  From there we adventured out to Shelly Lake Park using the compass to guide us on our path, checking if we were heading north, south, east or west.   At the park, we tackled exploring different color rocks that we could pick up with All Terrain Nature Collector. Then moved on to seeing if we could pick up smaller creatures such worms and ants. We did have some success.

Back home we decided to do some target practice using Earth Tag toy.  It was so much fun for the kids to see how awful I was is in hitting the target.

We are going to keep exploring more this week and let you know what we discovery.
