E-Books Now Available at Wake Libraries!

August 12, 2010
A great place for a lot of excitement as well as an opportunity for your children to learn to read or advance their reading skills is our local libraries. Wake County offers many exciting programs; they even have great contests going on this summer.

Several programs they have are the Preschool Story Time, Summer Reading Programs, Toddler Story Time, Mother Goose Story Time, Spanish/English Story Time, and Family Story Time. These programs range in age from birth to fifth grade.  The times and days very for these events, therefore, you will want to check your local library website for more details at http://www.wakegov.com/departments/libraries.htm.

Other opportunities for your children are the Free Family Movies. The Holly Springs location offers these free movies every Saturday morning in the month of July. Make sure to give them a call at 919-577-1661 for movie titles. Your kids also can have fun during the Family Tie-Die session, Flip-Flop Picture Frame Craft, and Hawaiian Luau for Teens. At the Eva Perry location, they will have a Wizard Rock Concert for all ages where 5 bands perform songs that are based on the Harry Potter books on July 20, 2010.

It is important to keep our children learning even through the summer months and it is great that Wake County is helping by providing great fun and entertaining programs for our kids.
