Lafayette Village is a European-style village in North Raleigh. Located on over six acres off I-540 and Falls of Neuse Road, it offers locally owned gourmet restaurants and upscale shopping. Lafayette Village holds a very special place in my heart. When my husband and I first had the idea to relocate our family out of Colorado, we were looking for a very specific quality of life. We hopped on a plane to visit Raleigh as a possible option. We explored so many great places on that initial trip. One stand out in particular was Lafayette Village. As we sat outside basking in the sun, I could see kids running all around the green, parents sipping on craft beer from Crafty Beer Shop, moms mingling over coffee at Jubala and I felt *home*. 2. The green space on a sunny day allows endless hours of playtime. We love bringing bubbles, balls, chalk etc.

5. Free, family-friendly seasonal events are hosted on the green nearly every month, such as St. Paddy's, Bastille Day and Trick or Treating in the Village.
