We’re always looking for fun things to do on days when the weather makes us want to curl up under the blankets. Alamo Drafthouse Cinema is the perfect place to see a movie, eat a meal, or even grab a drink - all at the same time!

Check out their Now Playing page for current movies, or attend one of their many events. The staff works hard to make sure you have a wonderful experience from the moment you step foot in the theater.

Popcorn, candy, soda, etc… do these snack foods remind you of movie nights? Seeing a movie at Alamo is a little different than your average movie theater when it comes to the ‘concession stand’. The waiters are specially trained to get your order and bring you your food, all while not disturbing the atmosphere of the movie. Each seat is provided with paper and a pen to write down your order and prop it up in its designated spot. Your waiter will quickly grab it, take it back to the kitchen, and deliver your food to your seat as soon as it’s ready. If that isn’t enough, your check is brought to your seat about a half an hour before the movie ends, so you don’t have to worry about closing a tab after you walk out of the movie.

If you’d rather spend a night in, Alamo has you covered! Visit the Video Vortex to rent movies for free. Remember the thrill of heading to Blockbuster on a Friday night to pick out the perfect movie? Get back that feeling with Video Vortex, located inside the Alamo lobby. Guests can rent up to two VHS, DVD or BluRay discs absolutely free, for 7 full days! Don’t have a VHS or DVD player anymore? That’s ok, because Alamo rents those out too!

Did you know?
One of our favorite things about Alamo is how they support local nonprofits with their series: Kids Camp. The admission price for the movies in this series is donation-based and 100% of their proceeds are donated to the local nonprofits.

Age Policy:

For the enjoyment of all movie-lovers, Alamo implements a set of very strict screening rules. There is an "Ages 3 and up" limit on ALL movies, and a strict "Ages 6 and up" rule on any movie after 6pm. Yes, this means the age limits are in effect even on children's films. However, every Tuesday on all movies before 2pm and on all Kids Camps or PBS Kids Special Screenings, "Alamo for All" is offered. During an "Alamo for All" screening, all ages are welcome, even babies! (Hint: This means that new parents can even enjoy a movie of their choice with their infants snug in their arms!)
