By Macaroni Kid Downtown-Midtown-North Raleigh June 27, 2019

Greystone Village Shopping Center | 7713 Lead Mine Rd, Raleigh, NC 27615

Greystone Village is a shopping center in North Raleigh filled with some of our favorite locally-owned businesses! Try out this itinerary for a fun-filled day at Greystone Shopping Center!

Start the morning off right at Sola Coffee Cafe
Sola is an awesome coffee shop and cafe with a variety of hand crafted beverages, pastries (try the mini donuts!), sandwiches and snacks.

Get your coffee to go and head to Greystone Recreation Center
The only indoor playground run by the City of Raleigh is free to enjoy, offering a simple climbing structure and climbing wall surrounded by rubber turf but is enough to keep kiddos ages 5-12 busy for a bit. Hours are M-Fri, 8AM to 5PM & Sat- 9AM to 12PM. Hours are subject to change. We recommend calling ahead of time- 919-996-4848

Munch on lunch at Gonza Tacos Y Tequila
Kids will love Gonza's vibrant atmosphere, with twinkling lights and gorgeous hanging star lanterns that fill the ceiling! The Colombian-Mexican menu offers delicious options like tacos, enchiladas, and nachos.

Finish off with dessert at Two Roosters Ice Cream
After lunch head to this fantastic ice cream shop, offering homemade ice cream in fresh, unique flavors. Try seasonal flavors like Malted Chocolate and Ginger Sorghum Cookie and Guava Cheesecake along with "Forever Flavors" like Cookies & Cream and, our personal favorite, Blackberry Hibiscus.
