The Raleigh Night Market is held on the 3rd Thursday night of each month, from March to November.
Downtown Raleigh’s Night Market is such an exciting monthly event and so much fun to attend with your kids! There are two more Raleigh Night Markets left for 2019 and, from my past experience, these are the best ones of the year. Last year, my kids and I attended the October Night Market to celebrate Halloween. They dressed up as Spiderman and a butterfly princess and loved trick-or-treating through all the vendors at the market. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming of the kids coming to their booths. Raleigh Night Market has announced that Cirque De Vol will be performing live circus acrobatic acts at the October market this year!

At past markets, we have enjoyed all sorts of music and dance performances, such as Ukulele jams, folk music, and the Carolina Ballet. No matter what entertainment is planned at the market, you’re definitely in for a treat. Kids of all ages will love singing and dancing along with the music. When we attended the holiday market last year, the Carolina Ballet performed portions of the Nutcracker! My kids loved it so much! In addition to different events and entertainment each month, the Raleigh Night Market showcases over 80 local vendors who offer handmade jewelry, crafts, pet products, clothing, food and drink. Strings of lights twinkle overhead as you walk through the the picturesque cobblestone street of Historic City Market, making for a simply magical evening.
