Free Event Tomorrow: Picnic Palooza at Fred Fletcher Park!

Reconnect with friends, discover local parenting and kid-friendly resurces, listen to family friendly music and make a difference in the story of new parents in the Triangle.  Triangle Area Parenting Support is a local non-profit organization that exist to connect, inform, and empower parents by facilitating inclusive, research based, non-judgmental sustainable support programs.  This Saturday is their big Spring Fundraiser and you're invited!! 

When: Saturday, June 26th, 10:30 am to 3:00 pm (rain date July 31st)

Who: All Families, kids of all ages 

What: FREE Family Picnic featuring live local music, entertainment, lawn games, a magic show, creatures and more! You'll also have the opportunity for professional family photo mini-sessions by DVOC Photography for just $15. PLUS enter the raffle to win one of 7 specialty gift baskets! 

Where:  Fred Fletcher Park Multipurpose Field-  a bit tricky to find but the field is located off of Washington St. between Glenwood Ave and Nicholas Ave.  Look for Picnic Palooza signs! 

Schedule of Events: 

  • 10:30 - 11:15pm- Music by Tommy Niemann ((local singer/songwriter and new dad!!))
  • 11:15-11:45- Student Band from Notasium 
  • 11:45- 12:30- Tommy Niemann 
  • 12:15-1pm Creature Class and Magic Show! (Featuring that popular "dorky guy" character provided by Fairytale Dreamer!) 
  • 12:30 - 1:00 pm- Student Band from Notasium
  • 1:00-2:00- Characater Visit from Wakaboomee! 
  • 1:00-1:45 pm- Music by Tarrah (Local singer/songwriter)
  • 1:45- 2:15- Student Band from Notasium 
  • 2:15-3:00- Music by Tarrah
